But there are various other unsuccessful Bollywood celeb kids, who couldn’t get benefitted from the big surnames attached with their names. They got big launches with the help of their parents, but faded away from public’s memory over time.
While some star kids like Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt proved their worth with their skills, the names given below failed to make their parents proud.
- Uday Chopra
Being son of leading producer Yash Chopra, people thought it would be an easy ride for him into Bollywood industry, which up to a point got true with his launch in one of the blockbuster movies ‘Mohabbatein’. He managed to grab some eyeballs in the movie, but lost the track after back to back flop movies like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’, Neal ‘n’ Nikki and Pyaar Impossible. ‘Dhoom’ series is the only thing he can brag about now.
- Rinke Khanna
Daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, Rinke Khanna tried her luck in acting but failed miserably. The only thing she is known for is her ‘Musu Musu Hasi’ song. She worked in many forgettable movies.
- Esha Deol
Hema Malini still has charm to make people fall for her ever after 40 years of acting career. Unfortunately, her daughter Esha Deol couldn’t create the same magic. Esha couldn’t impress the masses and settled by marrying Bharat Takhtani.
- Tusshar Kapoor
Son of a superstar Jitendra and brother of TV industry’s leading director Ekta Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor could create magic on the silver screen. Now his Bollywood career seems to have stuck with just Golmaal series and the movies made by his sister Ekta.
- Jackky Bhagnani
Son of a successful producer Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani couldn’t get success in Bollywood. He did movies like F.A.L.T.U and Kal Kissne Dekha. Undoubtedly, he has amazing dancing skills, but these alone can’t help you get success in Bollywood.
- Sikander Kher
Son of popular actors Anupam Kher and Kiran Kher, Sikander Kher started his acting career with the movie ‘Woodstock Villa’ in 2008. After this, he worked in five more films but failed to impress the audience, which proved that he doesn’t inherit the understanding of cinema like his veteran parents.
- Adhyayan Suman
Though his father Shekhar Suman also couldn’t earn a lot of fame with his acting skills, he entertained the audience with his comic skills. However, Adhyayan Suman couldn’t manage to do anything and his career seemed to have lost after a few movies.
- Tanisha Mukherjee
Daughter of yesteryear’s successful actress Tanuja, Tanisha Mukherjee couldn’t live up to the name of her mother and sister Kajol. After giving flops like ‘Neal N Nikki’ and ‘One Two Three’, she tried to comeback in the industry with realty show Bigg Boss where she just got noticed for getting cozy with another contestant, Armaan Kohli.
- Fardeen Khan
Popular actor Firoz Khan’s son and a veteran actress Mumtaz’s son-in-law, Fardeen Khan failed to create the magic like his father. He started his filmy career in 1998 with ‘Prem Aggan’ which failed miserably. But the actor didn’t give up and tried his luck with other movies like ‘Jungle’ and ‘Pyar Tune Kya Kiya’ but the credit of success of these movies went to amazing acting of Urmila Matondkar.
- Kumar Gaurav
The chocolaty hero Kumar Gaurav proved just one hit wonder. He is son of Rajendra Kumar and started his Bollywood career with the blockbuster movie Love Story. But his flop movies outnumbered his hit movies and he faded away with time.
- Arya Babbar
Actor and politician Raj Babbar’s son, Arya Babbar tried his luck in Bollywood and managed to get roles in hit movies like Guru and Ready. His wrong selection of movies like ‘Tees Maar Khan’ spoiled his career. Now he can be seen in some Punjabi movies only.

Daughter of singer and actress Salma Agha got beautiful looks and sweet voice from her mother. Unfortunately, we can’t say same thing for her acting skills that were seen in her first movie ‘Aurangzeb’ that released in 2013.
- Twinkle Khanna
Daughter of Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna, and wife of a successful Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna failed in Bollywood miserably. Though she is a successful blogger, novelist and an interior designer now, she couldn’t take her parent’s legacy ahead in Bollywood. Now the actress is widely known as Mrs. Funny Bones.
