Bhagyashree – Maine Pyaar Kiya
Bhagyashree started her career with one of the biggest hits of its time ‘Maine Pyar Kiya.’ She played the lead role against Salman Khan. The movie was a huge blockbuster with all the songs on Chartbusters. The actress broke many hearts after announcing her marriage and decision to leave the industry for her family. Though she tried her luck in a few movies with the hubby Himalaya, she couldn’t get the same success again. Now, she has started her second innings with TV soaps like ‘Laut Aao Trisha.’
Jugal Hansraj – Papa Kehte Hain
Jugal Hansraj started his career in Bollywood as a child artist in the movie ‘Masoom.’ He garnered a lot of fame for his acting skills. He started his second innings with the movie Aa Gale Lag Jaa in 1994. After this, his second movie Papa Kehte Hain in 1995 opposite Mayuri Kango was also a big hit. But after this, the actor failed to impress the audience and lost in the crowd of forgotten actors.
Kumar Gaurav – Love Story
Kumar Gaurav started his film career with the movie Love Story and got a huge success. Everyone liked this romantic and cute actor. But the audience didn’t like the repeated roles in different movies and showed the actor way to home. Son of veteran actor Rajendra Kumar failed to spread the same magic again.
He tried his luck again in the industry with the multi-starer movie Kaante but got lost in the huge crowd of more popular actors like Amitabh, Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty.
Gracy Singh – Lagaan
Gracy Singh was part of the most successful movie of 2001 – Lagaan. With the huge success of the movie, the film industry felt lucky to get a talented actress like Gracy Singh. But she proved everyone wrong with her bad choice of film selections, and the worst among all is Desh Dhrohi. Forget about the lead role, she is not even seen in supporting roles now.
Anu Agarwal – Aashiqui
Both the lead actors Anu Agarwal and Rahul Roy of the super hit musical movie Aashiqui were just one-hit wonders. Anu Agarwal won millions of hearts with her performance and striking features, but failed to create the same magic again and lost in darkness after 1994. Later, the actress met with a severe accident left with paralysis and coma. The actress recently launched her biography book “Anusual: Memoir of a Girl Who Came Back from the Dead.”
Diana Penty – Cocktail
Daina Penty’s debu film Cocktail was a big hit. With her striking looks and aura, she stole the attention even after working with famous actors like Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Though she drew the attention of the audience, but she couldn’t gain much in terms of new projects. The actress has come back again after a long break in the new movie ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi‘ opposite Abhay Deol.
Nargis Fakhri – Rockstar
She started her Bollywood career opposite Ranbir Kapoor with Imtiaz Ali’s hit film ‘Rockstar’. The hot siren created huge waves with a blockbuster beginning but failed to create the same magic again. She tried her luck in a few films as well as item songs but didn’t get the expected success.
Mahima Chaudhry – Pardes
She started her journey in the industry in 1997 with Subhash Ghai’s super duper hit movie ‘Pardes‘. But soon after, the lady had some problems with the director and Mr Ghai ensured that she will not get a good offer from the industry that spoilt her career. Though she got a few movies, but the roles in none of the movies were as strong and noticeable as it was in Pardes.
Sonal Chauhan – Zannat
Sonal Chauhan shot to fame with her first film ‘Jannat‘ and the super hit song ‘Zara Si Dil Mein De Jagah Tu‘. She had the charm, beauty and appeal to become a successful actress in Bollywood, but she lacked an essential thing, acting skills. That is the reason she couldn’t survive for long and faded away.
Kunal Khemu – Kalyug
He had already proved his mettle as an actor in his childhood in the movie ‘Zakhm‘ and returned with a promising film ‘Kalyug‘ as a lead actor. Thanks to the edgy story and the great music of the movie, he won many accolades for his performance. But after Kalyug, he couldn’t secure good roles. He also tried his luck in comedy movies but again disappointed the fans.
