Baahubali is one of the biggest record maker movies in Indian film industry. And the movie is once again set to break yet another record with the widest re-release of Baahubali – The Beginning.
When people are eagerly waiting for Baahubali – The Conclusion, the makers are planning to encash its magnum opus Baahubali – The Beginning by re-releasing its Hindi version on more than 900 screens. This is a smart marketing move by the producers of SS Rajamouli’s historical action-adventure movie to get benefitted from ‘Baahubali’ fever.
Confirming the news of re-release of the movie, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “The Hindi version of #Baahubali [first part] is being re-released in 900 screens in India tomorrow… Screen count could increase.”

Calling re-release of the movie an exceptional marketing tool, film industry executive Girish Johar said, “People will definitely watch it again and those who missed it will watch. It will add more value to part 2 as well.”
It is not just the re-issue of the movie that makes this ploy interesting, but the offer the makers are giving to drive audience to the theaters. Everyone buying ticket for the first movie is assured to get ticket for Baahubali: The Conclusion in its opening weekend.
When talking about release of Baahubali: The Beginning, Karan Johar once said, “When a movie continues to be topical for two years, you know people are loving every bit of it! Both, exhibitors and film lovers, have approached us to make Baahubali a binge-watching experience. Hence, we are re-releasing the first part on April 7th with a special offer that takes care of tickets for both parts. We’re excited. April will witness the biggest movie event ever!”
Release of part one of Baahubali on the silver screen just before 2 weeks of much awaited second part will further create more curiosity in the audience. Baahubali: The Conclusion will hit the theaters on April 28, 2017.
